Things I Love Thursday

Heart shaped treats. I couldn’t get enough of Valentine’s Day treats last week… don’t sweets just taste a little bit better when they’re heart-shaped? Or is that just me? Thanks to Dunkin’ Donuts for being my valentine, and to my best girlfriends for celebrating with me.

♥ Starting the morning with a good book. My goal for the year is to read at least 35 books, and I’m well on my way. I’ve also been checking off squares on my reading bingo chart. Sometimes it’s a challenge to find books on my packed shelves that adhere to each category, but that’s part of the fun! (Plus, it’s helping me make a dent in the ever-growing list of “books I own but haven’t read yet.”) Feel free to follow my reads and reviews over on Goodreads.

Fuschia Currently lists. I’m loving the pop of pink of Kristin‘s new Currently cards. She’s also just designed square cards(!), which I can’t wait to get my hands on because they are adorable.

♥ Fresh flowers. My new goal is to buy a bouquet for the dining room table every few weeks. Seeing pretty blooms in the house instantly puts me in a great mood.

little loves:

♥ watching Olympic coverage (especially figure skating) ♥ warmer temperatures (a small taste of spring!)
♥ deliveries from ShoeDazzle ♥ pretty new coffee mugs ♥ helpful customer service
♥ gummy candy ♥ new recipes to try ♥ conversations about books ♥ shopping trips at Target

What are you loving this week?

This series is inspired by Kristin of My Life as a Teacup.

  1. Love this! Anything is better if it’s heart-shaped :) I’m loving notebooks lately, I can’t have enough! I’m also trying to have fresh flowers around more often. I’m so looking forward to Springtime ♥

    1. I love notebooks, as well! I’m tempted to buy some every time I walk into Target, Barnes & Noble, etc., but I already have SO many blank ones that need to be filled! That’s my new goal for this year— get writing!

        1. I loved Borders! I used to go there constantly to browse the books and sit in their cafe section to write… I used to be a little anti-Barnes & Noble, but they’ve become a favorite place to visit now that Borders is gone. :(
