A Letter To (One Of) My Online Addictions

Dear Pinterest,

I’m kind of addicted to you. You’ve introduced me to gorgeous manicure tricks, thousands of mouth-watering recipes, every possible way to organize every aspect of my entire life, and enough craft projects to make me max out my credit card at the nearest Michael’s. I spend a good chunk of time each morning scrolling through the latest pins and adding the cutest selections to my carefully curated boards. It’s a “procrastination” activity that I’m not entirely ashamed of, since it gives me plenty of really good ideas that cover a ton of different categories.

Unfortunately, I’m not actually jumping up from my laptop, speeding to the nearest craft/grocery/clothing store, and yelling, “I’m here to complete a Pinterest project!”

But I want to.

So, I’m creating a little bit of a challenge for myself: complete one pin a week. Whether it’s baking chocolate monster cake, giving myself a love letter manicure, decorating for my Valentine’s Day party, or making my coffee thermos sparkly, I am ready to have some of my favorite hoarded pins come to life.

And I’m sure I’ll be posting recaps of these Pinterest adventures on my blog. No worries there.

Ready to be covered in glue–
Sara

  1. I love this goal! I love Pinterest, but I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve actually made/bought something I first saw on Pinterest. Most of them have come from my cocktails board :)

Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
